1. Register Your Interest

The first step to finding the right property is to register with us either by telephoning on 01254 87 20 30 or calling into our offices at 25, Blackburn Road, Accrington, BB5 1HF. (next to Argos)  Where you can discuss your property requirements with one of our rental team. You can also register your interest about a specific property online if you are short of time.

With hundreds of properties to choose from you can rest assured we have just what you're looking for!

3. The Key To Successful Viewing

We're open at times to suit you, convenient for viewing after work and at weekends.

Our offices are open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (Wednesday 10.00am-5.00pm)  and 9am-4pm Saturdays. In order to secure a property we recommend an early viewing.

We will meet you at your viewing at the designated date/time in our Rent the House car, enabling you to feel secure in the knowledge you are meeting a representative of Rent the House, we are on hand to answer any questions immediately and advise where necessary, most appointments last 30 minutes giving you plenty of time to have a good look round. 

5. Application Approved

Once your application is accepted we will organise the following:

• Arrange a suitable moving in date
• Prepare the legal documentation
• Arrange signing of the Tenancy Agreement
• Collect your moving in payment (rent + deposit)

2. Finding The Right Property

Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements you will receive a selection of properties that match your criteria.  Or phone 01254 87 20 30 where we can organise a detailed “property match” to be emailed to you which shows properties within your requirements.

4. Applying For The Property

Once you have identified a suitable property you will be required to complete an application for tenancy where you may state any special conditions of the offer and provide details for your references. You are required to pay an application fee for the credit and reference checks.  Once this has been paid then the property is placed on hold and no other applications are accepted pending the outcome (please note we still advertise the property, however no viewings will take place).  You will be required to complete the relevant forms to apply, these forms must be returned within 7 days.

6. Completion And Sign Up

Sign up day, please allow for 1 hour to allow us to explain fully the tenancy agreement and any in depth details in relation to the property, this is handled on a one to one basis and is the time to speak to a member of staff if you do not understand anything. You will be given a full move in pack together with the keys.

Congratulations, you can now move into your new home!
