In all my 25 years of letting property, I have never once encountered an agent taking a robust line like this with the tenants and actually sending them a bill to them! All too often tenants take the easy line and call the agent for something they could actually deal with themselves, completely uncaring about the financial penalty of such action, for the landlord (who is always seen as some rich tycoon!). So the landlord ends up with the bills that should have never occurred, simply because it's easy for the agent to pass it in that direction. So thank you so much - I'm most impressed indeed!

I have been dealing with Rent the House for 5 years now. Overall I have been happy with the way they have performed as a team. In these hard times I feel they have improved their services, to make my job easier. One of the most important services to me that they provide is the reference checking & class of tenants they put in to my properties. It would be very easy for Rent the house to just put anyone in to your property, which I feel that some of the letting agencies do. That is one of the main reasons have stayed with Rent the house. Also I feel that their standards are always extremely high, i.e. keeping me informed if there are maintenance issues, or when re-letting my properties.

Many thanks for your help regarding the out standing GAS/Electric Bills for a/m address. I am relatively new to the buy-to-let market and since my tenant did a runner back in December I have used three other management companies before I came to 'buy-the-house'.
